Happy New Year!!

Well hello everyone and happy new year!! i really have neglected the ole blog in 2006 mainly cos i was leading a bit of a settled life style, working the ole 8-5 in front of the computer so i found it pretty difficult to motivate myself to write about another day at the office. anyway all this is about to change soon, myself and mr. (or should i say Dr.) gallagher are making plans to hit ozzy some time in march!!! woo hoo!!

I guess i should bring everyone up to speed a bit.
well last year was great. was in auckland all year and hard pressed to name too many things i did outside of auckland!! found my home in the Clare Inn and learned how to play soccer and even a bit of Gaa!! and made heaps of friends - including some crazy kiwis (they do exist believe it or not!!) or course i made it home for a few weeks in august for the madness of gunther and rosie's wedding in cork, which was great altogether and i pretty much caught up with everyone i could think of. had a super time at home and was back here in time for the Gaa season which is only 3 months here up till christmas. We all headed to sydney over christmas and courtesy of rodg's cousin stayed in a great area (Newtown) , where we managed not to meet every paddy we knew this side of the world!! the fire works were amazing, not that i usually have any interest in fireworks but these ones were really great-going off in every direction.

anyway this is goign to be a short one to ease myself back into it. 2007 has got off to a great start, been away every weekend since new years' and the weather has finally come good. did a 7 hour hike last weekend and still walking like a penguin 3 days later!!
hopefully i'll get to see most of ye sometime over the year. big congrats to ted and jean who got engaged over christmas!! woo hooo!!!!
