queenstown at last!

just a quick note as the internet time is nearly up. arrived in queenstown on friday after driving 2000k! so were a bit knackered. nothing too eventful to report from our road trip. had a great night out in wellington as a result of not wanting to go back to our hostel and ending up in kitty's yet again. met a load of randomers and jenny ended her famine!! good stuff.! met up with hughie and jill in nelson for a few quiet ones, which was nice. saw lots of nice scenery, two of the longest beaches i've ever seen and some of the most rural places ive ever seen. glad to be in queenstown at last. one of tom's mates is putting us up at the moment till we get our selves sorted out which is dead sound. called into the site i'll be working on , so dont start work till wednesday. queenstown is gorgeous. amazing views everywhere you look. there's a big lake and mountains all around. not much snow yet so the ski season wont be starting for another few weeks. taking it easy with the money till we get our house and deposit sorted out so just went for a few quiet ones last night. its a real touristy little town, loads of shops and pubs. the night life's a bit quiet at the moment asl the season wont start for another little while. anwyay that's the latest. gotta go
