hello again,

well folks ,
its been an eventful few days. still wroking away like a mad thing and making blunders all over the place. the kiwis are all enjoying pulling the piss out of me. finally found a place to live. grand and big but unfurnished, so we've been having a bit of craic trying to furnish it as cheaply as possible. to date we have three plastic garden chairs and a cardboard box table with a sheet over it!, four knives and forks , a frying pan , saucepan and a few empty beer cans. looking good! had a nice surprise when we lit the fire on the first night. there was a nest of birds in the chimney, which we didnt know about until the fire was well under way. teh fire is one of those stoves with a door on it. so the birds were flying down the chimney with a fire under their asses and nowhere to go. meanwhile me and paddy were running around screaming for jenny, who was very calm and disposed of the birds out the door while me and paddy hid in the bedroom. paddy was screaming like a girl, but sure that's no different to usual. the birds escaped with minor burns and a few singed feathers. enough surprises for teh moment. peadar and vinny are living with us for a few days till they get their own place , so we're having a good ole laugh at the mo.
