well?

well how's everyone,
cant figure out how to put photos up on this computer so there'll be none until next week. quite an eventful week. got paid on friday whcih was great. have most of it spent already. we still havent managed to furnish the house so have been sitting on the floor most of the weekend. the ole cardboard table isnt holding up too well either. got the first snowfall here last sunday. its only been snowing up on the mountains, not in the town, it isnt too cold yet either. the place looks really beautiful i must say. the slopes are opening up next weekend, so we're all looking forward to that. paddy, vinnny and paddy couldnt wait till then so the three of them headed off for the weekend to some place 5 hours away so myself and jen had free rein of the place for the weekend, which we made full use of! friday night we had a so called 'roof shout' in work, which was mad. it was basically a party to celebrate getting the roof on one of the blocks of apartments and all the subbies and anyone working on the job was invited. they got us a keg and someone brought in an old barrel and we basically had a bonefire in the barrel in the middle of the building site!!absolutely mad, surrounded by scaffolding and to go to the loo ye had to climb over a load of rubbish and duck under all the scaffolding in the dark! an absolute receipe for disaster! had some barbecue sausages and a few steaks and everyone was in flying form. by about 8:30 we'd gone through 2 barrels and with one drunken brawl over headed off to the pub for a couple more. great craic altogether. the lions were playing the first provincial match on saturday night so that started the night on a good note with a lions win!! woo hoo! ( got tickets to see them in dunedin playing provincial team otago , by the way, cant wait. ronan o'gara in the flesh! mnnn!!) anyway after that headed to some keg party with some other guys at work which was great craic too. back to the pub after that and bumped into matt quigley, this guy from home who is livng with two a brother and sister i used to live with in second year college! mad or what. the world and its mother seems to be in queenstown at the moemnt. plenty of irish around anyway! have tomorrow off as well in honour of the queen (its her birthday apparently). queenstown looks really beautiful now with the first snow fall. will put up a few boring photos next week so you can see what i mean. anyway that's all folks.
keep up the emails. congrats smokey by the way on you're debut interview with rte!
hugs
maeve
